About our Charity Shops

All of our Age UK South Cumbria charity shops sell a wide range of ladies’ and men’s clothing, books, kitchen equipment, bric-a-brac, electrical goods (checked by a qualified electrician), household linens and more. At our Kendal Warehouse, Milnthorpe Outlet, Grange Superstore and Ulverston Superstore, we have a wide selection of all types of furniture, electricals, household goods, kitchenware, etc. - all available at very reasonable prices.

We also offer a FREE furniture collection service within the South Cumbia area and deliveries at a small charge.

Volunteering with Age UK South Cumbria

Our shops rely on volunteers for sorting stock, creating interesting window displays, and attending to customers. If you can spare as few as three and a half hours a week, please visit our volunteering page for more details and get in touch.

Volunteer in our Charity Shops

Our eight retail Charity Shops are vital for Age UK South Cumbria, as they serve to generate most of the funds we use to provide our services to local older people. Our Retail Volunteers are equally vital in helping to ensure the continued success of these shops, assisting our retail staff with donated goods, operating checkouts, welcoming customers, and much more.
