Can you spare just a minute?

If you haven't got much time, or you don't want to go through the application process to become a volunteer, one of the easiest, quickest and most useful ways that you could help is to print off one of our posters and put it up in your local community.

We provide lots of services to help older people across Somerset and North Somerset but the first step to them receiving our support is for them to know about it!

Some older people don't use the internet and so we always try to use posters and info on paper to get our information out....However we cover such a large area (all of Somerset and North Somerset), it is difficult to reach every corner. This is why, if you could spend half an hour printing a poster and putting it up locally, you could really be making a difference to the life of an older person in your local area by alerting them to the free services that we offer to make later life better.

If you have more time

We are also always looking to recruit new Volunteers in roles as diverse as providing company with a visit to an older person, helping to fill out benefit claim forms, or leading fun chair-based exercise sessions!
