Toenail Cutting Assistant: Yeovil and Highbridge

Are you free to work for a few hours per month in either Yeovil or Highbridge?

Our Toenail cutting service helps older people who are no longer able to hold toenail clippers or bend down to reach their feet.

Contract: Variable hours

Days of work: Anticipated schedule of work expected as below but day of week may be open to negotiation

Yeovil - Thursdays - approximately 4 hours each on two days per month

Highbridge - Thursdays - approximately 4 hours on one day per month

Rate of pay: £11.78 per hour plus extra £1.71 for each hour worked which equates to holiday entitlement.

The post is mainly based in a community setting but with some home visiting required. The ability to work unaccompanied with initiative is essential. This is a customer facing role and experience in dealing with people and familiarity of a healthcare environment is an advantage. Full PPE is supplied as the safety of staff and clients is of paramount importance.

Appointment to this post is subject to a criminal records check with the DBS.
