Age Friendly Tourism Award now open for entries

Age UK Somerset is proud to sponsor an Age Friendly Award for local tourism businesses that go out of their way to make older visitors feel welcome.
We put the needs of older people at the heart of what we do and we are delighted to sponsor this award to celebrate tourism businesses that are taking the same approach.
The 2025/2026 Somerset Tourism Awards (including Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire) are open for entries now!
So if you know of any local cafes, hotels, restaurants, attractions, etc, who think about the needs of older visitors and always welcome them with a smile, please prompt them to put themselves forwards and gain some recognition for the great work they are doing!
