And the winner is...

We are delighted to announce that the Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton was named as the Age Friendly Tourism business of the year at last night's prestigious Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards (also including Wiltshire and Gloucestershire!) held at Batch Country House near Weston super Mare. 

The Age Friendly award is sponsored by Age UK Somerset and is for tourism businesses (which can include cafes, restaurants, hotels, attractions, venues, etc), that go above and beyond to make older visitors feel welcome.

The Brewhouse Theatre really impressed the judging team with "their varied programme of events that attract older visitors from the surrounding areas, but what truly stood out was the warm welcome from the team of volunteers who are the absolute stars of the show at the theatre who really go out of their way to help and are amazing."
