Age UK Solihull has been supporting older Solihull residents for over 40 years, and we could not have done so without the community supporting our fundraising activity. Whether coming along to one of our events or taking part in a sponsored challenge, Age UK Solihull has a range of exciting opportunities to suit everyone. Whatever you decide, the money raised will go towards helping Age UK Solihull to support local older and vulnerable people. All the money raised in Solihull, stays in Solihull.

Join our new Weekly Lottery to be in with a chance of winning huge cash prizes, while also raising funds to help older people in Solihull.

Skydive for free!
Fancy jumping out of a plane and raising funds to help local older people? Join our Jump Day on Sunday 6 April or pick another date of your choice, and you can do just that!
If you raise at least £500 in sponsorship, we will pay for your jump!

The Big Knit
The Big Knit is back, and it's even bigger and better!
Grab your knitting needles or crochet hooks and get involved, knitting little hats and helping to raise funds to support local older people.

Run Solihull
Take on a local run for a local charity on Sunday 10 August 2025. Sign up to run either a 10k or half marathon, or enter the little ones into the Kids Race, in aid of Age UK Solihull, and entry is FREE!

International Cycle Events
Hop on your bike and embark on an incredible two-wheeled adventure with one of our international cycle events.
Choose from London to Paris or London to Amsterdam. Accommodation and food included for all international cycle events.

The Great Birmingham Run
Be a part of the Midlands’ biggest and best running event, and complete a half marathon or 10k run around Birmingham City Centre and beyond on Sunday 4 May 2025. Run in support of Age UK Solihull and entry is FREE! (Minimum sponsorship applies)

Tough Mudder
Take on the ultimate obstacle course challenge over a 5km or 15km run on Saturday 5 or Sunday 6 July 2025. With no competition and no timing, it’s just you, your teammates and muddy strangers working together to conquer the course and earn the world-famous orange headband. Entry is FREE if you raise at least £250 (15k) or £200 (5k) for Age UK Solihull.

We are a local charity, and every gift left to us helps us make a real difference to the lives of older people in the Solihull borough.
