Age UK Solihull is an independent, local charity and a Brand Partner of the national Age UK. We exist to be here for older people when they need our help and support. We are also the lead partner for the Solihull Community Advice Hubs, providing information, advice and support to all adult residents of Solihull.
Over 70 staff and 300 volunteers support our work.

Community Advice Hub Direct Payments Caseworker (fixed-term post to end March 2026)
Are you passionate about making a difference? Join our team as a Direct Payments Caseworker.
In this rewarding role, you’ll provide essential information, advice and support to residents across Solihull borough who are eligible for, and choose to utilise Direct Payments. Your empathetic approach and passion for enabling increased choice and control will empower people to continue to live independently, successfully and safely.
If you have excellent communication skills, the ability to absorb complex information and explain it simply, and a commitment to improving people’s well-being we want to hear from you.
You will be required to work from Age UK Solihull bases in central Solihull and Chelmsley Wood and across Solihull borough.
Hours: 24 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Salary: £26,214 per annum pro rata
