Join our 40th anniversary celebrations this summer holiday

We are inviting families to join in our 40th anniversary celebrations by taking part in Challenge 40 over the summer holiday.
The idea is to come up with a challenge based around the number 40, get sponsored and raise funds to help Age UK Solihull provide our services - which include befriending and an advice line - to older people in the borough of Solihull.
You can decide what challenge to do; it could be something physical, creative, mentally challenging or something plain silly! The only rule is that it must be based around the number 40.
Challenges could be anything from walking 40km to baking and selling 40 cakes, or doing a good turn a day for 40 days. Other ideas include reading 40 chapters over the holidays, or seeing how far you can run, jump, swim or cycle in 40 minutes.
Our Digital Marketing and Fundraising Manager, Rebecca Jacob, says, “The summer holiday is a perfect time to get involved with Challenge 40, as many parents are looking for activities to keep the kids occupied. We hope that lots of families will have fun coming up with their 40-based challenges, and we will be grateful for any funds raised along the way!”
