Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin's dementia support groups support local people with dementia and memory difficulties, their families, carers and friends.

This group meets on the fourth Monday of the month, 2.00 - 4.00pm (unless it is a bank holiday, in which case the group will meet a week earlier).

We provide emotional support and information in a safe and welcoming environment.

You can expect a friendly welcome on arrival and an opportunity to get to know others and share experiences in a relaxed atmosphere. We offer you the chance to learn more about dementia and to ask questions, while we provide fun and interesting activities.

How to join

To book your place at the next meeting simply call us on 01743 233 123 and select option 3 for our Wellbeing Services Team or send us an email. Our Dementia Support Workers are happy to answer any questions you may have about the group or our services. If they aren’t available when you call, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
