Woman hugging an older woman

Donating or fundraising in someone’s memory is a very meaningful way to remember them, honouring their life and helping local older people at the same time.

There are three ways you can support Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin in memory of a loved one:

Make a donation in their name

You can make a donation via our website or visit our JustGiving page. As you make your donation please tell us the name of your loved one and if you like, you can tell us more about why you are donating.

Collect at a funeral or memorial

Collecting donations at a funeral can help make a lasting difference in memory of your loved one. You might choose to do this by requesting donations instead of flowers.

Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin is registered on Memory Giving so an online collection can be arranged with your funeral director. Alternatively, contact us and we can support you in setting up your own online collection via our JustGiving page with a QR code that can be added to the order of service.

Take on a fundraising challenge

Taking part in a challenge event or organising a fundraising event such as a quiz, birthday fundraiser or fun run is a lovely way to pay tribute to a loved one. Fundraising in memory is a great way to connect with friends and family and share fond memories while raising funds to support older people in your community.
