Last chance to send in Big Knit hats

With the Big Knit campaign in full swing, we’re calling on our knitters to send in your wonderful little woolly hats to support Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin.

Each hat placed on an innocent smoothie bottle raises 30p to help fund our services for local older people.

The deadline is 1st July, so now’s the time to gather up those hats and send them to us. Whether you’ve knitted just one or dozens, every single one helps make a difference to local older people.

How to send in your hats

There is still time to take part. If you haven’t started knitting already, and would like to, you can download Big Knit knitting and crochet patterns (PDF, 5.7MB) or email fundraising@ageukstw.org.uk and we will post a pack of patterns out to you.
