To celebrate Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin's 75th year we are launching a fundraising appeal with an ambitious goal: to raise £75,000.

Every penny will go towards strengthening the vital services we provide to support the thousands of older people every year who struggle with feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Get creative and have fun while making a difference! Organise a fundraising event in your community, whether it’s a bake sale, sponsored walk, or charity quiz night. We’ll provide you with all the support you need to make your event a success.

Join our #Challenge75

Take on #Challenge75 and make every step count for older people in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin! Walk, run, cycle, or swim 75 miles, minutes, or laps, your way, to help us raise £75,000 for Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin’s vital services. Whether you go solo, rally your friends, or challenge your workplace, every pound raised will support older people in your community.

We are looking for local businesses to support our appeal this year in a variety of ways. You could choose us as your Charity of the Year, host a fundraising event, sponsor one of our key events, or even donate a raffle prize.

Your fundraising will support our befriending service, expand the numbers of our classes, social groups and day centres across the county and fund any future initiatives that can help tackle loneliness in Shropshire and Telford.
