Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin has partnered with engineering company Bytesnap Design to produce a heartwarming film that shines a spotlight on the remarkable careers of veteran engineers in our local community.
Engineering Heroes is a captivating short film featuring four extraordinary individuals who have shaped the landscape of British engineering over the past decades. From the precision of aerospace to the intricacies of marine engineering, these heroes have stories that will inspire both seasoned professionals and aspiring engineers alike.
Through their eyes, we witness the evolution of engineering practices, the challenges they’ve overcome, and the wisdom they’ve gained. These stories not only celebrate their achievements but also offer valuable insights into the industry’s past, present, and future.
Heather Osborne, Chief Executive of Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin said: ‘We are really thankful to Bytesnap for choosing us as their charity of the year and working with us to tell the stories of local older people that we serve. The documentary is brilliant and shows the remarkable journeys of our four veterans.’
The Engineering Heroes mini documentary is more than just a campaign, it’s a celebration of the valuable contributions of veteran engineers and a reminder of the importance of intergenerational connection.
