Springtime Buzz to help older people

A Shropshire amateur dance group is preparing a new show full of variety, to raise funds to support older people in our community.
Springtime Buzz is the name of the presentation from Maeflower Dance, in support of Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin. It’s described as a mix of ‘beautiful ballet, silly and snazzy, and clever contemporary dance.’
This latest show follows the success of the group’s Christmas production, Santa’s Stars & Dolls, which was also in aid of Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin.
Springtime Buzz will be performed in Shrewsbury across four dates and the events are public and free to attend (no ticket required):
- Friday 3 May, 4.30pm at Radbrook Community Hall, Shrewsbury
- Saturday 4 May 2.00pm at Radbrook Community Hall, Shrewsbury
- Sunday 5 May, 1.30pm at The Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings
- Friday 10 May, 11.30am at the Morris Hall, Shrewsbury
‘The ladies of the Maeflower Dance group always do such an amazing job with their presentations,’ said Claire Fishlock, Service Development Officer at Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin. ‘We honestly can’t thank them enough. They’re brilliant!’
