Planet Wellbeing
Would you like to be involved in a focus group and have your say on the design and development of simulated experiences?
The idea is to create a virtual reality where people can enjoy activities they used to.
Previous older groups have suggested experiences such as:
- Going dancing at the local ballroom
- Swimming
- Fishing
- Cycling or driving
- Gardening
- Taking dogs for a walk
We'd like to hear what suggestions you have and all ideas are welcome.
There is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new project with Sheffield Hallam University, designed to help those experiencing loneliness.
If you'd like to be involved, it is for anyone:
- 50 years old or over
- Willing and able to attend a series of meetings over 12 months
- Regardless of IT experience
- Has an understanding of the experience of loneliness
The 1.5 hour meetings will take place once a month in Fitzalan Square, S1 2AZ. Travel will be paid for and refreshments will be provided.
If you'd like to find out more or get involved, contact Lucy at Age UK Sheffield on 0114 250 2850 or enquiries@ageuksheffield.org.uk.
