Age UK Salford draws on over 50 years of experience offering personalised support to help people live well, remain active and thrive in older age.
As we get older, it is often harder to overcome setbacks. It can also be more difficult to know where and how to find the right help when experiencing a change in circumstances.
Age UK Salford reminds you in their new video that when life gets tough, you’re not alone and you can call on them.
In the video, you can hear the stories of Sandra and Claire. Sandra started to go to Critchley Community Hub in Swinton after her husband had died. She wanted to meet new people and have a friendly place to go. Claire talks about being a family caregiver for her mum living with dementia.
Dave Haynes, Chief Executive said: “We’ve been part of the local community for over 50 years providing vital services for older people. We’re here to help and guide people in the right direction – there are always new challenges people face and we’re here to help guide people in the right direction.”
