Emma Rose has been appointed at Chief Executive, Age UK Salford with Helen Morrisey as Deputy Chief Executive following the departure of Dave Haynes, who left the organisation at the end of February 2025.
Emma and Helen bring to their roles, extensive senior management experience and will lead the charity as it moves forward with the merger with Age UK Trafford at the beginning of April.
Looking ahead, the merger will provide a stronger and effective infrastructure for the organisation and will create new opportunities to learn and develop new services and approaches.
Emma Said: I am delighted to take on this role and excited for the future of the organisation as we continue to deliver for local older people and join forces with Age UK Trafford.
Helen Said: I am looking forward to my new role and this next chapter. The merger with Trafford will present new opportunities and we will strive to ensure we make a positive difference to the lives of those aged 50 and over.
