Critchley Community Hub joins the Chatty Cafe Scheme

Critchley Community Hub has joined the award winning Chatty Café Scheme. The scheme, established in Oldham, encourages cafes to have a 'Chatter & Natter' table so that customers who want to engage with other customers can do. The scheme was recently crowned the winner of the Innovating for Ageing Competition for its simplicity and also effectiveness in reducing loneliness for all ages.

The scheme complements many of the groups at Critchley including the Coffee and Company group. The group meet every Friday morning at 11am. They meet for a chat, a hot drink and find out about things that are going on locally. The group has grown since it was started over a year ago and everyone is welcome.
