Giveacar is a not-for-profit social enterprise that can turn your old car into cash for Age UK Rotherham. They arrange free collection of your vehicle, and then either sell your car at auction or scrap it. Then the proceeds (minus service fees) go to your charity.

Launched in 2010, Giveacar was the first service of its kind in the UK and allows charities to tap into a new source of funds. They help people to get rid of unwanted cars, without the hassle of selling or scrapping them. Using a nationwide network of breaker yards and salvage partners, Giveacar have already arranged the collection of over 35,000 vehicles, raising over £4 million for more than 1,800 charities.

Donating your car is easy and happens in 3 easy steps: 

Step 1 – Tell us about your unwanted vehicle. We’ll arrange to collect it for free.

Step 2 – Depending on its condition, your vehicle will be either auctioned or scrapped. 

Step 3 – We’ll donate the proceeds to your chosen charity and send you a receipt.
