Rotherham Heroes Volunteer Programme
As a good neighbour, and someone who cares about your local community, you are probably looking for ways in which you can help during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Age UK Rotherham is working with the Rotherham Community Hub to enlist Rotherham Heroes Volunteers to help in our communities.
The Rotherham Heroes Volunteer Programme is a co-ordinated approach to ensure the most vulnerable people receive the right help and support. We also want to provide the support and structure needed to keep volunteers and recipients safe.
If you wish to volunteer, or if you represent a community group that needs extra volunteers in the coming weeks and months, we are looking in particular for those who can offer help with the following:
- shopping for essentials
- tackling loneliness
- prescription collection
- pet care/dog walking
- advice and signposting to support services.
