What another great cuppa!
Guests were invited to while away the afternoon in the splendid surroundings and beautiful parkland setting of Rotherham Golf Club.
The Glorious Afternoon Tea took place on Friday 31st August 2018 and began with a glass of Prosecco being served followed by tiered plates of freshly prepared sandwiches and assorted scrumptious cakes (including chef’s own special recipe scones) accompanied with fresh clotted cream and yummy strawberry jam. Pots of fine tea & coffee poured into elegant china cups all added to the sense of occasion.
It was a fabulous occasion for people to meet with others and raise their glass in support of older people in Rotherham.
Sue Burton (colour stylist) provided an afternoon’s theatre of entertainment and beautiful colour demonstration.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us, and to the volunteers who helped on the day, with a special mention to the people and businesses who kindly donated gifts for the raffle.
It was a fabulous occasion and proved another hit by raising a glass and over £400 in support of older people in Rotherham.
