Glorious Afternoon Tea
Published on 20 September 2017 02:54 PM
Guests were served a sumptuous Afternoon Tea with Prosecco. They were then invited to sit back and enjoy a talk from Sue Burton (guest speaker) who took the audience on an interactive session about the art and philosophy of colour and style analysis. The session provided a useful insight into a person’s individual colouring and the shades of the colour spectrum that were considered the most flattering. Colour analysis aims to makes clothes shopping easier, faster and much more rewarding for everyone.
Julie Benson, Fundraising Development Officer, said, 'The Glorious Afternoon Tea has gone down a treat. Taking time out to love tea, love colour and love later life has proved an appealing combination. Guest feedback has been really positive and just as sweet as the cakes served on the day!'
Thank you to everyone who joined us on the day, our host Rotherham Golf Club and to the individuals and businesses who kindly donated raffle prizes.
