Celebrating 60 years!

Published on 28 January 2025 03:07 PM

2025 is a Remarkable Year for Age UK Richmond!

This year marks 60 incredible years of supporting older people in Richmond upon Thames. To celebrate this momentous milestone, we’re thrilled to be planning and hosting a series of fun events and campaigns throughout the year to raise awareness of our work, reach more people, and raise much-needed funds.

How You Can Get Involved This Year

We’d love for the community to join us in making this anniversary truly unforgettable. Over the year, we will be sending you updates on the different events and activities taking place.

Things You Can Do Now:

Share our story and help us reach more people

Spread the word about the incredible ways we support older people in Richmond upon Thames.

  • Practical Advice & Support
We provide valuable information and advice, assist with finances and grants, offer support to ease loneliness, and help individuals transition from hospital to home.

  • Maintaining Independence at Home
From looking after homes and gardens to fixing and repairing, we’re here to help. We even take care of household chores, collect prescriptions, and do the shopping – always going the extra mile to ensure comfort and peace of mind.

  • Staying Active & Connected
We help older people stay physically active and socially engaged. Why not invite someone to explore the activities on offer at our three Social & Wellbeing Centres or within the community?
