We are proud to have achieved the Age UK Charity Quality Standard.
Our achievement of the Age UK Charity Quality Standard recognises the high standard of our performance as an organisation. It certifies that our organisation is well governed and managed; has a clear direction and strategy; and is committed to ensuring the well-being and safety of older people, our staff and volunteers.
We achieved the standard following arigorous examination of our work and a full day assessment visit by external industry leaders SGS, endorsed by the Charity Commission.

We are proud to have achieved the Advice Quality Standard that our Advice service has been awarded.
We hold the Advice Quality Standard, which provides you with the assurance that we have met the certain criteria that demonstrate a commimitment to quality
The I&A Quality Programme has main sets of benchmarks, which state that a service must show that it:
- Provides consistent, relevant and effective advice to clients and demonstrates this by providing sufficient information in their clients records.
- Has clear and relevant systems and procedures in place to manage the delivery of consistent, good quality information and advice.
- Monitors its servcies and seeks feedback from clients and stakeholders.

The standard is externally assessed and awarded to members of the Age UK network that have demonstrated they are well governed and managed; have a clear direction and strategy and are committed to ensuring the well-being and safety of their clients,their staff and volunteers.
Standards are externally assessed by industry leaders SGS and endorsed by the Charity Commission.
