Keep Active - Volunteer at Wanstead Activity Centre!

We want you!

Our Wanstead Activity Centre, located at 2 Grove Park, is for local older people and needs volunteers aged 18 plus, for front-of-house and back-kitchen help.

This Role includes:

• Meeting and greeting people
• Serving food and drinks
• Support to older people to join in
• Some telephone and very light admin duties
• Washing up
• Preparing vegetables
• Do as little or as much as you can!
• Any day Mon-Fri
• Between 10am and 2pm

Volunteers with Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering enjoy:

• Induction training
• Meeting new people & making friends
• Gaining work experience
• Sharing skills to help older people
• Out of pocket expenses and a free lunch on the day you volunteer!!
• Having some fun
