Community Health Open Day

Age UK Redbridge, Barking and Havering were delighted to be invited to participate in a Community Health Open Day at the South Woodford Health Centre on 11th October. The open day was arranged between the the three Health Centres, South Woodford, Queen Mary and the Shrubberies.

Information was available on the day from Lifeline, a Dietician, a Pharmacist, Action on Hearing Loss,Healthwatch, Nurse Practitioners and Age UK. People were able to get health checks including blood pressure, diabetes and even an ECG.

It was a successful day and many people benefitted from the information available to them and from the health checks and Tai Chi session.
