Donations & Legacies
You can help us support older people in Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham and Havering by making a donation or leaving a legacy in your will.
Havering Energy Doctors
The Havering Energy Doctors is a council funded service delivered in partnership with Age UK East London and Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering which is available to all residents of Havering free of charge.
It aims to support people who may be struggling with rising energy bills or living in homes that are difficult to keep warm. One of our energy experts will visit your home to assess its energy efficiency and provide advice on how to use energy more effectively.

Our Wanstead Activity Centre, located at 2 Grove Park, is for local older people and needs volunteers aged 18 plus, for front-of-house and back-kitchen help.
The many benefits, include out-of-pocket expenses plus a free, freshly cooked lunch!

Nail Cutting Clinic Opening in Wanstead!
From Monday 11th December 2023, clients can now book an appointment to have toe nails trimmed at our Wanstead Activity Centre as well as our Ilford office.

Our Latest Projects
Digital Champions is an exciting new programme from Age UK, Redbridge, Barking and Havering. It aims to provide local older people with the technology, skills and confidence, to be able to use devices (such as tablets, smart phones and computers), to browse the internet and get the most from digital services.
Free Strength and Balance Classes (Redbridge)
Introducing free Strength and Balance Classes and a new class starting at Wanstead Activity Centre in June.
Great News! We are delighted to inform you that we have secured further funding for our very popular, and important, strength and balance classes for Redbridge. Do please look at our flyer of available classes. New participants will need to register with us and complete a health questionnaire before attending so do please get in touch with us as soon as possible as places are limited.
Home Support Service
We offer a wide range of home support, including assistance with bathing and showering, help with cleaning, shopping, pension collection and bills, and much more!

Main Switchboard - Technical Issues
We are currently experiencing some technical issues with our main switchboard where callers wanting to leave a message are being told that the our mailbox is full, however when we check messages there are none on the system. We are working with our telephone provider to get this issue resolved as soon as possible. We do apologise for the inconvenience. We hope to get the issue resolved as soon as possible.
