A physical activity class for those living with Parkinson’s disease. The class will help open up posture and include evidence-based exercises intended to change neuroplasticity in the brain by challenging balance, strength and coordination.

Our classes are a great way to have fun, meet like-minded people and include a social element at our in-person sessions.

Big, Bold and Balance is kindly supported by the Oxford Branch of Parkinson’s UK, allowing participants to take part in-person for only £3 per week, or join in online via Zoom.

When the classes are

Didcot Civic Hall. Wednesdays 10:30am-11:30am (online via Zoom at the same time)
Botley Seacourt Hall. Fridays 10:30 am-11:30am (online via Zoom at the same time)

To sign up to attend one of our in person Big, Bold and Balance classes, please contact us by email or phone using the details at the top of this page.

You can register to attend the classes online here.

Our wider physical activity offer

We also offer a range of other exercise classes:

Strength and Balance (to maintain health, mobility and independence)

Seated Exercise (for those who are more comfortable seated)

Stay Strong and Steady (a free introductory course, tailored for those at risk of falling, or who have had a fall).

In addition to our exercise classes, we offer videos which enable you to exercise at a time that is convenient for you. These videos can be accessed via our YouTube channel or as DVDs which we can provide free of charge. Visit our YouTube channel using the link below or contact us on the details at the top of the page to request a DVD.
