Online Financial Assessment - making life easier!

Adult social care can be a complicated and scary process, and for people who have never needed additional support, it can come as a surprise that you often need to contribute for some of the care you need.

Oxfordshire’ County Council have created a new Online Financial Assessment tool that is designed to help you, or somebody you know, better understand this process.

The digital calculator helps to give you an indication about how much you might need to contribute toward the cost of your care.

The web-based tool will ask you to complete five sections about your financial information, after which the calculator will give you an estimated figure of what you might need to pay.

The council’s online assessment tool will be the quickest, easiest and most secure way to start the financial assessment process and is part of their digital first approach (paper versions will still be available if needed – you can obtain a copy by calling 01865 897 530).

This new tool is all part of Oxfordshire County Council’s drive to improve services, making it easier for residents by creating a smoother, clearer pathway to access services.
