Through the Older Together groups, Age UK Oldham creates a welcoming space where older people can chat, share experiences and join in a range of fun and engaging activities that promote wellbeing and provide a sense of community.
By offering these social opportunities, we aim to reduce the negative effects of loneliness and isolation, ensuring that older people feel valued, supported, and connected with others in their community.
The Older Together groups are dedicated to improving the quality of life for older residents in Oldham and believe a good starting point can always be a hot drink and a slice of cake!
