Peripatetic Shop Manager

Oldham - Any Age UK Oldham shop as required
 
Hours:   
21 hours per week, 7 hours per day, to be worked any 3 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday as required by us, from 9am to 4.30pm 
 
Extra hours are often available.
 
Salary:           
Salary points 20-21 £12.38 to £12.83 per hour dependent on experience
 
Working with a team of managers and volunteers, we raise funds for services for older people within the Oldham borough. No day is the same, the role involves:
 
• Inspirational leadership
• Developing others
• Good eye for detail
• Knowledge of clothes designers/manufacturers
• Reasonable I.T skills - all till systems are computerised 
• Ideally with previous retail experience preferred but not essential
• Being a car owner would be an advantage as our shops are located throughout the Oldham borough
 
As an Age UK Oldham Peripatetic Shop Manager you will be fulfilling an essential role ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our busy charity shops in the Oldham borough.  Organising and motivating a team of volunteers, you will maintain our first-rate standards within the shops.
