Age UK Oldham wish to appoint a Driver/Carer

Responsible to:

Care Services Manager/Day Centre Manager

Location:

Oldham

Any Age UK Oldham Day Centre as required

Hours:

35 hours per week, 7 hours per day, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.30am- 4.30pm

Salary:

Fixed salary point 23, £24,644 per annum / £13.55 per hour

As an Age UK Oldham Driver/Carer you will transport passengers in our adapted vehicle to and from our Day Care centres. You will work alongside a team of carers and will, under general supervision, attend to the personal needs of those attending the centre, many of whom live with Dementia. You will help to provide and deliver social activities, ensuring a supportive and caring atmosphere for all those involved.

You will be an experienced driver and have a full clean driving licence.

Due to the nature of this position, any offer of employment with Age UK Oldham will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring (DBS) Service.
