Tea Dance attendee in a sailor's outfitOur popular afternoon dances give you the chance to step back in time and celebrate the days when dance halls were full of feet moving to the waltz, tango and cha-cha-cha.

The afternoon tea dances are really popular as news of them spreads by word of mouth. Many people travel across Manchester and from as far as Leeds and Sheffield to join us each month.

The Queen Elizabeth Hall is a great venue to join in the old-time dances, and experience some new ones or to just simply enjoy the music and the company. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the afternoon is rounded off with free refreshments served by volunteers.

During the year we have themed dances which include Valentines Day, Summertime, Halloween, 1940s Remembrance, Christmas and many more. Dancers celebrate our special themed dances by coming in costume or in a colour theme to bring some extra smiles and laughs to the afternoon.

Cost

Attending one of our afternoon tea dances costs £3.00, which includes refreshments.

Location and times

Our tea dances occur at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, West St, Oldham, OL1 1UT, between 1:00pm and 4:00pm. See below for a list of upcoming Tea Dances.
