Story 10: The gift of giving
Published on 21 December 2022 10:00 AM
We rely on your support to help older people in Nottingham & Nottinghamshire. There are many ways you can donate to us and every donation makes a difference, Here’s how
£5 could help gain £100 of benefits for an older person, through our benefits advice
£12 could pay for a regular visit to a housebound older person’s home
£24 could pay for a lonely older man to attend two sessions of our Men in Sheds project
There are so many ways you can donate to us:
Give regularly - Could you commit to supporting Age UK Notts with a monthly donation of any amount? If so, you can set this up via our MyDonate page or by contacting us for a form

Our shops are dependent on your generous donation of high quality, unwanted items - spring clean your home and help us! Do your bit for the community by reusing, recycling and re wearing through our fabulous shops

Men in Sheds - Our sheds are always in need of unwanted good quality word-working tools, equipment, and timber - clear your garden shed or garage and support us! Why not even donate tea, coffee and biscuits – We hear they are partial to a fig roll or 2!

Donate in memory . Family members often choose to have donations to our charity instead of flowers, or to make donations in the name of their loved ones and we are grateful for their generosity at a time of loss. If you’d like to do something similar, you can donate in their memory by post, by phone or by setting up an online in memory fund
