How we can help
Published on 02 April 2020 09:12 AM
Do you need support because you are self-isolating? Would you like someone to chat to (over the phone) or someone to pick up shopping or medicine?
Age UK Notts are here to help. Our staff and volunteers are here to help older people in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire who have no one else to rely on during this pandemic.
We can help with:
- Shopping for essential items
- Prescription collection
- Daily support call to help maintain social contact
If you or a loved one need support with any of the above, please contact our team on 0115 844 0011 or email info@ageuknotts.org.uk.
Please note: at this time we are receiving a large number of calls, so there may be a delay in getting back to you. Please leave a message and we will get back to as soon as we can.
You’ve donated and we are grateful!
We’ve received numerous donations from many people throughout the past few months and every single penny has made a real difference. Thank you to everyone who sent in a cheque or donated online. Your donations have made it possible for us to help people when they felt most vulnerable and afraid. We’ve shopped, collected medication and made wellbeing telephone calls to isolated people. Your donations have helped make that possible. We’re working hard to continue to provide services that matter to older people and donations always help us to deliver. If you’re looking for a worthy cause to support, well…look no further!
