Extension of overnight closure of Newark Urgent Care Hospital

Due to pressures on the NHS, the Urgent Care Centre (UCC) at Newark Hospital will be closed between the hours of 9.30pm and 9am for an additional 6 months from the 6th July 2020.

Coronavirus support and guidance for those Shielding

From Monday 6th July, guidance for those shielding will change. Stay up to date with the latest information for vulnerable adults here.

Government support is also still available for those who have been advised to shield. You can get help with food, medicines and care by registering online. Registrations close 17th July. To read more and register, follow the link to the gov.uk website.

Nottinghamshire Mental Health Helpline

The Nottinghamshire Mental Health Helpline is now available 9am-11pm 7 days per week for anyone of any age who needs emotional support or information about what help is available locally for people struggling with their mental health.

Anyone living in Nottinghamshire can use the service. A team of supportive mental health workers are on hand to provide information and advice.

The helpline is being delivered by Turning Point. The helpline number is 0300 555 0730. For more information and mental health resources visit Turning Point

The Alzheimer's Show Webinars

The Alzheimer's Show, in partnership with specialist charities and organisations are hosting a series of FREE webinars for families, carers and healthcare professionals to access the best possible about how to deal with dementia and Covid-19. These webinars start from Thursday 9th July.
