How to donate
Your support helps us to improve the quality of later life in Norwich
Donate Now
We are dedicated to making Norwich an Age Friendly City that celebrates later life and the contribution of its 50+ aged population. We have been supporting older people, their families and carers for over 75 years.
As only 5% of our income is currently from donations, we need more support to protect our services and help a growing population of older people. With your generosity and kind donations, our services will transform lives.
How to donate
Make a regular donation
By becoming a regular donor, you will help to ensure that we have a secure income to allow our vital services to continue, helping to improve the quality of later life in Norwich. It doesn’t need to be much – just £5 could pay for someone to keep socially active at one of our clubs and trips.
To set up a standing order, please download our standing order form. To make a monthly donation via JustGiving, please visit our page here. Alternatively, you can get in touch if you would like to pay directly via bank transfer.
Make a single donation
22.8% of older people in Norwich are living in impoverished conditions (Norwich City Council – The State of Norwich 2020). The demand for our services is ever growing, and the cost-of-living crisis has pushed more and more people into poverty. We appreciate any donation, big or small, which can help us to reach more people aged 50+ who need our support.
To make a one-off donation via JustGiving, please visit our page here. Alternatively, you can get in touch if you would like to pay directly via bank transfer.

Leave a gift in your will
When we make our wills, we naturally want to make sure our loved ones are cared for. But through your will, you can also leave something special for older people in your city who have no one to turn to when times get tough.
Whatever the size of the donation, we really appreciate your generosity and we promise to use it carefully and effectively on your behalf. If you would like to find out more or discuss this subject further, please get in touch.
Donate in memory
Donating in memory of a loved one can be a thoughtful way to honour them, to continue supporting a cause they cared about, or to recognise the help they received in later life. It can help us to continue to provide the advice, support and services that many older people are relying on. There are different ways to donate in memory, for example, you could make a regular or one-off donation or you could consider creating a tribute page for them on JustGiving.
Donate in celebration
If you have a special occasion coming up, such as a wedding, christening, birthday or anniversary, why not consider a celebration donation?
You can invite your friends and family to donate to Age UK Norwich instead of gifting you with items. Not only is this great for when you are stuck with ideas for presents, but it makes your occasion even more special and meaningful.
Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to find out more about this idea.
Please notify us if you are a UK Income or Capital Gains taxpayer and would like to make a donation, as it will be eligible for gift aid.For every £1 you donate, Age UK Norwich can claim an extra 25p at no extra cost to you.
