Charity of the Year
Making us your charity of the year means we can make a significant impact on the lives of over 50s in Norwich. Your support will help us provide essential services that enhance and protect health and wellbeing.
In 2024, The Maids Head Hotel was a strong supporter of Age UK Norwich while choosing us as their Charity of the Year. They actively engaged in various fundraising initiatives, including:
- Promoting Awareness: Promoted Age UK Norwich’s work and highlighted the challenges faced by older people.
- Community Engagement: Created competitions for the general public and hotel residents.
- Charity Events: Hosted events for free to help raise funds.
- Staff Fundraising: Encouraged staff to participate in fundraising events like The Forum Abseil and Run Norwich 10k.
- Prize Donations: Donated Bentley trips and Norwich City Football tickets for raffles
