Earlier this week, Megan Durrant, Marketing and Comms lead for Age UK Norwich had the pleasure of speaking with Kayleigh Poacher on BBC Radio Norfolk, discussing the upcoming exhibition and its significance. If you missed the live broadcast, you can listen back to the interview by following the link below.
The Forum Norwich is set to host an exciting history exhibition from 4th to 7th August, offering visitors a chance to explore the fascinating past of Norwich and the pivotal role older generations have played in the city's development. The exhibition will feature a variety of interactive elements, engaging talks, and informative stands, making it a must-visit for history enthusiasts and anyone interested in learning more about the city's rich heritage.
As part of the exhibition, guests will embark on a journey through time, uncovering the stories of the people, events, and milestones that have shaped Norwich into the vibrant city it is today. The event is designed to highlight the incredible contributions of older generations, shining a spotlight on their invaluable impact on the community, while also raising awareness of the importance of supporting and celebrating the elderly in our society.
"We're thrilled to bring this exhibition to The Forum Norwich," said Megan Durrant. "It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the history of our city and honour the lasting legacy of older generations. We believe it’s important to recognize their contributions while also encouraging a dialogue about how we can continue to support and uplift them today."
