Age UK Norwich is thrilled to be part of SYSTA's exciting new art project!

Starting this September, participants from Age UK Norwich, Millenium Library Drop-in-and-Draw, and Norfolk County Council Children’s Services in Norwich and Diss will meet twice a month for a year. Together, we'll explore nature and local biodiversity through art creation.
This project is a fantastic opportunity for our members at Age UK Norwich to connect with others, express themselves creatively, and raise awareness of important environmental issues. The workshops are open to everyone, regardless of prior art experience, and past participants have found it to be a truly rewarding experience.
One participant from previous SYSTA workshops said “I didn’t think the art was for me, but I enjoyed every moment”, with another saying “'I think art has a role as it communicates the fragility of nature but also hope”.
The National Lottery Community Fund, made possible by National Lottery players, is the major supporter of this project. We are also grateful to SYSTA's other funders - The Clan Trust, Norfolk Arts Project Fund, Norwich School, Norfolk Libraries, Kettle Chips, and Bread Source - for their generous contributions.

We can't wait to see the amazing art created through this project!
