Former Trustee, David Wootton Passes Away

It’s with sadness, we share the news that one of our former Trustees, David Wootton, has passed away following a recent illness. Our thoughts are with his wife, Yvonne, and family and friends

David became a Trustee of Age UK Norwich in January 2009. He was a strong advocate for older people, with a particular passion for Marion Day Care Centre, following a career in Social Care. He resigned from the Age UK Norwich Board in December 2022 but continued his charity work as a Trustee of The Marion Centre CIO, a separate charity.

David devoted countless hours to Age UK Norwich as a volunteer Trustee during his tenure, and he will be missed.
