Abseil Event Raises Over £6,500 So Far

Age UK Norwich is delighted to announce the success of its first abseil event held at The Forum in Norwich. The thrilling challenge attracted 61 participants who braved the heights to raise a remarkable £6,500 and counting for the charity.
The abseil event provided a unique and exhilarating experience for participants of all ages and fitness levels. With the support of The Forum Norwich and Howard Adventure Hire, the event was a resounding success. The Forum generously provided the venue and logistical support, while Howard Adventure Hire provided expert guidance and equipment for the safe and enjoyable abseiling experience.
The abseil event was particularly popular with local businesses, with teams from Alan Boswell Group, Magdalene Medical Practice, Creative Sponge, Maids Head Hotel and MJP Conveyancing Limited taking part. Their participation not only contributed to the fundraising efforts but also demonstrated their commitment to supporting local charities and promoting team building activities.
