Age UK Norwich Charity Tandem Skydive raises over £3500

On Saturday 3rd June, 10 friends of Age UK Norwich participated in a Charity Tandem Skydive to raise funds for the charity.  

The skydivers included 5 members of the team from merchandise supplier Totally Branded, Nick Howell from Nick Howell Coaching, as well as three of our staff members and one client.

Together, they raised an incredible total of £3,587.95!

The sun was shining and the views from the sky were simply incredible.  After the plane soared to 13,000ft, our skydivers and their instructors jumped out of the plane and fell at around 120mph, descending to around 5,000ft in 40 seconds.  At this point, the instructor opened the parachute and they floated safely back down to earth.

A huge thanks and congratulations to all of the fantastic supporters who took part in the skydive and those who donated.  Every one of you is helping to make a difference and improve the quality of later life in Norwich.
