We depend upon the support of many individuals in the community who recognise the importance of our work. We value every single donation, and there are many ways you can support us.

All donations we receive go directly towards helping our isolated and vulnerable older people in the Scarborough, Whitby, and Ryedale areas. This support is vital, and enables our important work within the community. Financial donations can be made at any time in cash, cheque, or direct debit. Cheques should be made payable to 'Age UK North Yorkshire Coast & Moors', or if you wanted to make a regular donation to us, you could even set up a Standing Order through your bank, so that we receive a set amount each month, without you having to do extra work yourself. If you want to donate physical items, such as clothes, books, toys, etc, we are always happy to accept; our shops sort, clean, and sell these donated items, and all proceeds go towards Age UK North Yorkshire Coast & Moors and our community projects. If you want to see what services we offer, or more details on our shops, please browse our website, and visit the "Our Services" page for a project overview.

Have you considered online donations?

As the majority of our donations are transferred through online methods, the process is simple and well-used. You can click the button here to get started, or find the donation button at the top of every page of our site.

Monetary donations through cheques, credit cards, or debit cards?

Giving online is quick and easy. You can make a one-off donation, or regular monthly donations, through our 'Just Giving' page, which you can reach by clicking the colourful "Please Donate" button at the top-right of this page.
If you would like to write us a cheque, please make it payable to 'Age UK North Yorkshire Coast & Moors' and deliver it to one of our shops or the main office. We also accept cash donations. You can find the address of our main office by going to the "Contact Us" page, either to send the cheque by post, or for hand-delivery.

Physical donations through clothes, toys, books, furniture, or other items?

Our shops rely upon the donation of unwanted goods. Most of these are donated in-person, through simple drop-offs at our shops; simply enter any of our shops, explain that you have arrived to make a donation, and then deliver into our hands whatever items you have brought with you. If possible, please clean or disinfect items that you are donating. We can also pick up and collect items from your door. To arrange this service, or ask other questions, please contact any of our shops or the main office. You can find all of our addresses, opening times, and phone numbers on the "Contact Us" page.

Donations made through inheritance and wills?

If you are interested in donating this way, please click here to visit our "Leave a Legacy" page for full information.
