Age UK Northumberland Receives Information and Advice Quality Marque

We’re very proud to announce that Age UK Northumberland has received accreditation in both The Age UK Information and Advice Quality Programme (IAQP) and Advice Quality Standard (AQS) for Information and Advice services provided to over 50’s living in Northumberland.

Successful accreditation from both programmes, has been achieved as a result of a rigorous assessment process, which took place over a six month period and reviewed the accessibility of services, quality of advice given, customer care, and processes and procedures used to manage the delivery of information; ensuring that advice is provided in a clear, consistent and caring manner.

Amy Whyte, Head of Charitable Services, says “Achieving both The Age UK and Advice Quality Standard accreditation, demonstrates our commitment to providing consistent, relevant and effective advice, in a clear and caring way. We are all very proud of our Information and Advice team’s achievement; they provide an extremely valuable service within our community and deserve this accolade”
