Information & Advice Admin Assistant
Provide support to the Information & Advice team with organisation, correspondence, & telephone calls to customers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated individual with excellent time management and communication skills to join our Information & Advice team as a volunteer. You will be working with a professional team of individuals to help us provide an excellent information and advice services in North Tyneside to older people.
PURPOSE:
- To provide support to the Information & Advice team with organisation, correspondence, & telephone calls to customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To provide professional and confidential administrative support.
- To use available systems to establish and maintain the smooth running of the I&A service, ensuring information is accurate, easily accessible and can be quickly retrieved.
- To support colleagues with diary management and preparation of reporting, customer service evaluations and case studies.
- To provide support with correspondence management, including post and email.
- To manage electronic and paper-based communication, both internal and external. Circulating information appropriately and bringing to the attention of others any matters requiring urgent attention.
Age UK North Tyneside will provide you with:

Requirements:
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A team player.
- An ability to work independently and manage own workload
- High levels of confidentiality
- Ideally computer literate, well versed in all aspects of MS Office.
No previous experience or qualifications are required, full training will be provided.
