NUFC Matters supporting Age UK North Tyneside

Two Newcastle United legends are teaming up with a fans podcast to raise money and awareness of dementia services for Age UK North Tyneside.

NUFC Matters presenter and Age UK North Tyneside Ambassador Joe Allon will host the evening which will comprise of stories and anecdotes from the players ups and downs as part of Kevin Keegan’s entertainers team in the 1990’s.

Joe explained “These nights are a real chance for fans to get close and personal with their heroes whilst raising money for a great cause. NUFC Matters always has a Christmas party and an end of season event with all proceeds going to a local charity and we are delighted that they have chosen to help support dementia services in North Tyneside this time.”

The event will be held at Tyneside Irish Centre, 43 Gallowgate Street, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4SG on June 27th 2025 .

The support of our dementia services in North Tyneside will help people living with dementia, their carers, and loved ones continue to live fulfilling lives. This is achieved through our Dementia Activities, which offer stimulating and inclusive activities to support people living with dementia and offer a forum of practical advice for their loved ones.
