Work for Good

With 5.8 million small businesses in the UK; collectively the business community can have a hugely positive impact on society. But currently, only 2% of UK charities’ income comes from businesses, compared to 43% from individuals.

We want to play a part in moving the needle on that 2% and are keen to increase our support from local businesses, to enable us to help people make more of later life.

We’ve found an easy way for businesses of any size to donate to us through their sales. By pledging a donation via our Work for Good page, (workforgood.co.uk/charities/age-uk-north-tyneside), businesses can donate in a legal, simple and sustainable way that works for them.

We’re living in a world where people increasingly want to buy from and champion businesses that are led by their values and we’d really appreciate the opportunity to talk to any businesses who’d be interested in putting their purpose alongside profit.

So here’s where you can help: we’d love to hear from you if you own or work for a business that might like to support us, or have any friends, family or other contacts who do.

It’s never been easier for you to sustainably support us through your sales. By pledging your donation via our Work for Good page, you can join a growing community of like-minded businesses, by donating in a legal, simple and sustainable way that works for you.

You can choose the amount and frequency, plus with no minimum (or maximum!) donation amount, you can give as you grow.

To support us through your sales, you must have a Commercial Participation Agreement, which is created through the Work for Good donations form. Once this agreement is in place, you'll be able to publicise your giving and share your support for Age UK North Tyneside in plain text; alongside the Work for Good logo.
