Have your say on Adult Social Care charges in North Tyneside Council's latest consultation.
Consultation details
North Tyneside Council has a statutory duty to make sure the correct level of support is available to those in need as set out in the Care Act 2014. It is therefore important for North Tyneside Council ensure it has sufficient funding to be able to meet increasing demands on adult social care services.
The options set out in this consultation have been carefully considered to ensure consistency in the way that people who receive Adult Social Care services from the Authority, or arranged by the Authority, are charged.
North Tyneside Council would welcome your views on their budget proposals on charges for Adult Social Care services. You can do this by completing this anonymous questionnaire.
If you require more detailed information before completing the questionnaire, please read the Cabinet reports below. Please note the preferred options were all approved by Cabinet on Monday 27th November, and these are the options North Tyneside Council are consulting on.
