Tai Chi at Home
Published on 31 May 2020 07:15 PM
Are you missing your regular Tai Chi sessions or would you like to try Tai Chi?
Why not follow the routines in these FREE online videos?
This page was produced by David who has been an enthusiastic member of one of Age UK North Tyneside's Tai Chi classes for several years.
Over to David:
These are part of a series of videos, all available on YOU TUBE, and include many of the movements our Age UK North Tyneside, Whitley Bay, Monday Morning Tai Chi class at Foxhunters Pavilion use.
This popular group has been running since 2011, focusing mostly on Sun Style taught by Dr. Paul Lam. They are suitable for most people, and some can be done seated.
A word of caution. You should be doing this in the comfort of your home, so please ensure that you exercise on a solid floor. The reviewer learned this from painful experience when, during the first week of LOCKDOWN, he aggravated a weak tendon and lower back!
Dr.Lam currently offers several free taster videos. If you fancy trying some, then start with these before moving onto others in Sessions Two and Three:-
